Sometimes writers need a different perspective. Here's my perspective for today. U is for UpsideDown. Ever need a new way of looking at things? What's your perspective?
Now that all the blood has rushed to my head, I can think much more clearly. Go see what the other A-Z blogger have to say about U.
I'm a writer who captures the pulse of adolescent confusion in my Young Adult fiction, Sliding on the Edge and The Princess of Las Pulgas. Of course, I often reveal a lot of my Old Adult confusion while doing that. My first Middle Grade fantasy titled Alligators Overhead is out to good reviews, so that's making me happy. SUMMER SCHEDULE: I'll be blogging on Mondays only, unless there's something important.

Just stood on my head to read that - I feel much better now!
ReplyDeleteSo unexpected! Just like a good story that inspires me to turn another page. Lovely photos. Write on!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous view!! Clever, my friend.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I'm on a roller coaster! I think I need a Dramamine! Julie
ReplyDeleteThat last one made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteI like standing on my head. I think better that way!
DeleteI feel discombobulated!
ReplyDeleteI have a great picture of my daughter hanging upside down. Her blonde curls look so cool.
When I was little, I would lie on the floor, bend at the waist, and put my legs in the air to pretend I was walking on the ceiling. :)
ReplyDeleteVery clever! Seeing Creative as a child.
DeleteHah! What a fun post. :D
ReplyDeleteAs a child, I used to like looking at faces upside down. An upside down face talking always made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteYou are the Queen of Clever! There's a great drawing exercise where you replicate a line drawing in its upside down form. Just copying the spatial relationship of the lines shuts down your left brain and lets you Zen into right brain mode.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!! I love those upside down photos - going to have to try that!
ReplyDeleteVery creative! Love it.
ReplyDeleteAwesome idea. And I'm kind of dizzy!
ReplyDeleteVery imaginative! I used to do a lot of space paintings, which technically have no up or down. I used to turn them around from time to time, and it gave a whole fresh perspective on the scene - without appearing upside down.
ReplyDeleteI feel dizzy! Sometimes I feel like my whole world is upside down.
